A weekend at a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf turns into a nightmare for seven vacationers as they are subjected to fresh-water shark attacks.
Review: So far, Shark Night is one of the best Teenage-Horror Movies I’ve seen since Insidious. It contains lots of action, tons of suspense and most of all, the best for last…horror.
Scenes are freaky and frightening, thats part of it. The movie doesn’t involve in only fighting and trying to kill the shark, but also, fights between teenagers themselves. The movie is kind of bloody to have an PG-13 rating, so this is one of those movies you”ll be tricked. It’s full of jump-out-of-your-seat scenes, since almost every time the teens are in the water, the shark will definitely and predictably appear and kill one of the group.

John Martin wakes up in a motel suite perplexed why he is there, at the beginning of Shark Night 3D. The phone rings and he sets out to have a conversation with an unnamed caller. He sets about telling the chronicle of one Sammy Martin. He says Martin was a gentleman who claimed to have short-term memory loss or amnesia. Any recent memories and experiences are buried within a few minutes.
The protagonist of Shark Night 3D was a former private investigator assigned to discover if Martin’s condition can be covered under his insurance policy. After examining him, Leonard reasoned that Martin’s circumstance was psychological and his claim was refused. Martin’s wife is a diabetic who was convinced by Leonard (in trying to pacify her), that Martin indeed could make new memories. Subsequently, she tested Martin to see if he would remember. But he over and over gave her insulin injections and she sank into a comatose state and deceased from overdose. It was a form of self-annihilation because she couldn’t deal with his crazy illness anymore. Poor Martin was locked up in a insane asylum not even able to remember his wife’s death.
Shark Night 3D is one of those motion pictures to remember, for sure. Don’t overlook it.
